To give a brief background, in a Bluetooth audio chain, you have a transmitter and a receiver. Now, you may ask: Why do wireless headphones have higher audio latency than wired?

In a wireless connection, Bluetooth latency can go anywhere from an ideal 34 ms (aptX LL) up to 100-300 ms for true wireless earbuds and headphones. In a regular wired connection, the typical audio latency is 5-10 ms. These are the milliseconds (ms) it takes to process digital data and convert it to an audio signal that can be streamed through a wired or wireless connection to your headphones. Unless I'm an idiot and missed something, this is a very basic yet serious issue Duckstation needs to fix.Audio latency is defined as the time it takes for audio data to travel from its source (computer, smartphone, mp3 player) to your headphones or speakers. So I would love the lone version of Duckstation to be comfortable to play.

I can use all of these controls perfectly if I'm running Duckstation through Retroarch, but I HATE Retroarch with a passion because slight changes to Retroarch will make it keep crashing to the point that I have to reinstall everything. I cannot for the life of find anything in Settings that would fix this. It's not a hotkey issue in Duckstation's 'Settings' because none of those use Ctrl. Sometimes, holding down another action and then Ctrl will lock my character into that previous action unless I press Ctrl again. I can use Ctrl by itself, but other commands are locked out if I'm holding down Ctrl.

I've had to install Hotkey and find a script just to stop Alt+Space from opening Duckstation menus and pausing the game, but I cannot use Ctrl with other commands. I have control inputs set up on my keyboard that are the most comfortable for me to use, and that means I use a lot of Ctlr, Alt, and Space. The only issue I keep having is that it doesn't override Windows shortcuts.
